On February 5, 2008, the citizen of Cupertino will once more have to vote for a representative to the city council to replace thePatrick Kwok who resigned to take up a position with the Santa Clara Valley Water District's board of directors.
So who are the candidates? Mark Santoro who failed to win in November is returning for a second chance. T.N. Ho, a member of the Santa Clara County Board of Education, is a carpetbagger who came to reside in Cupertino two years ago. Chihua Wei, a long time Cupertino resident, has been involved with the community for years.
It seems that all 3 candidates do not disagree much.
With his years of cummunity services, Wei should be given the chance to be on the city council.
